About Secure Cloud Storage

Hey — I'm Curtis White. I work in enterprise IT as an endpoint and network administrator: day to day I manage infrastructure of 1,700+ devices, the networking behind it, and endpoint security and compliance. I hold the Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Security+, Network+ and A+ certifications. Evaluating storage, backup and security products is literally my job — this site applies the same discipline to consumer and business cloud storage.

I started Secure Cloud Storage because honest, current information about cloud storage is hard to find: most reviews are dated, or quietly rank whichever provider pays the most per click. This site is my answer to that — accurate, up-to-date, and independent.

How we verify every fact

Provider facts on this site don't come from memory or marketing copy — they come from a versioned database that currently tracks 52 plans across 10 providers:

• Collected from the source. Prices, storage and security features are gathered from providers' own pages, and every individual field stores the URL it came from — 2943 per-field source links so far. You can see them on each provider page and in the compare tool.
• Re-verified on a rolling schedule. An automated job re-checks the stalest plans every day, cycling the whole database well inside 30 days. Every page shows when its data was last verified (currently: Aug 26, 2026).
• Reviewed by a human. Automated fact-checks propose updates; nothing is published without review. Article "Updated" dates only move when content materially changed — we'd rather show you an honest old date than a fake fresh one.
• Honest about gaps. A dash or "n/a" means "we haven't verified this yet" — never a silent guess.

Independence

Rankings and comparisons are driven by the data above — never by who pays. If we ever use affiliate links, they don't change how providers rank, and pages stay clearly labeled.

Spotted something wrong or out of date? Email Curtis@SecureCloudStorage.com — every report is checked against the sources above, and material fixes show up in the page's "what changed" note.
